This is where you sign up for what used to be "Geeks, Freaks and Bamboozles Free Gazette". I sure hope you enter the contest to come up with a wonderful new name :)
Want to know why it used to be called "Geeks, Freaks and Bamboozles Free Gazette? That's because it was a free underground newspaper about computers, carnies and causing the scammers some grief. Hey, that's what it still is about, isn't it?
Are you saying "Huh, carnies? Why carnies?"
Once you've been "with it" a few years, the carny is always "with" you. Its the carny in me that launched Geeks, Freaks and Bamboozles 102 days after I got on the Internet to try and put another dent in the scammer's pocketbooks. Sorry I was so slow and that it's not been a bigger dent :) I think the "carny" is in everything I write but don't tell my old boss, the lawyer!
So, why the name change contest? In my opinion, the name is too long, i.e. it doesn't fit in the forms of the ezine directories :) The fact is, the people who read it know just as much what it's about as the person who writes it so why shouldn't they name it?
Besides, my readers have their own opinions as to what it's about. Did you read some of them over there in the sidebar?
The best way for you to decide whether it will be a good ezine for you to read is to try a few issues. You can do that by subscribing below. You will also have to confirm your subscription request or I cannot mail you the ezine.
